We do stuff from time to time. You don’t have to be a “member,” or a regular attender of Redefined to join us for any of these events. If you see something that looks like a good time, come with!

At The Movies

Every Friday night, June – August

Summer is a great time for movies. We dedicate Fridays during the summer to searching for truth in some of Hollywood’s recent blockbusters. It’s always a fun series, and usually makes for some great Friday nights. Last summer, our movies inspired campfires, costumes and floating lanterns. Come and find truth in fiction, and reality in the Bible.

State Line Bike Ride, #2

Saturday, June 2 – Sunday, June 3

We’re doing it again!

We will pedal from Church in the Word to the land of cheese on Saturday, June 2, camp overnight, and pedal back to Elgin on Sunday, June 3! You can watch the video from last year here.

Permission slips and $20 (to help cover food and camp site fees) are due Friday, May 18.

We will have three leaders who are CPR/First Aid certified with us, one EMT, and one experienced bicycle mechanic. We ride with two support vehicles following, who are always in touch via cell phones and short-wave radio, in case anyone needs water or picked up along the way.

So if you don’t know if you can ride the whole way, that’s okay! Give it your best shot, and if you need to take a van ride – that’s okay!

If the weather is bad, our rain date is the following weekend: June 9 and 10.
